چکیده
In current design specifications for deep excavation, the determination of safety factors against groundwater inrush only considers self-weight effect soil mass at bottom. However, shear strength and its spatial variability in a cement-solidified bottom layer also plays an important role factor estimation. Based on that, this study, reduction method was introduced into reliability analysis excavation engineering, influence stability is studied. Furthermore, deterministic that can equivalently consider uncertainty proposed verified.

Water Inrush Characteristics with Roadway Excavation Approaching to Fault
Water inrush disaster is an important factor in restricting safe production of the coal mine. Taking the roadway in seam in Danhou Coal Mine, as the engineering background, according to the spatial relationship of the roadway, the impermeable layer, the fault and the loading conditions, the fault activation mechanical model under the roadway excavation disturbance was built, and the fault activ...
متن کاملA model-averaging method for assessing groundwater conceptual model uncertainty.
This study evaluates alternative groundwater models with different recharge and geologic components at the northern Yucca Flat area of the Death Valley Regional Flow System (DVRFS), USA. Recharge over the DVRFS has been estimated using five methods, and five geological interpretations are available at the northern Yucca Flat area. Combining the recharge and geological components together with a...
متن کاملConsidering a Model for Sustainable Energy Planning Under Uncertainty
In this paper, real options theory is utilized to evaluate the effect of uncertain electricity and CO2 costs on speculation conduct. Methodologically, the allegiance of the newspaper in this appreciation is that uncertainty is not just stopped down as far as stochastic processes and their fluctuation, additionally as far as expected and acknowledged procedures, i.e. the procedures, w...
متن کاملA New Method for Considering Distribution Systems in Voltage Stability Studies
In methods presented to calculate the voltage collapse point, the transmission system is usually the only part of the power system that is completely modeled. Distribution systems are often replaced by aggregate load models because the use of the detailed model of distribution systems in voltage stability analysis not only increases the computation time, but also decreases the probability of co...

INTRODUCTION Estimating groundwater inflow into a tunnel before and during the excavation process is an important task to ensure the safety and schedule during the underground construction process. CASE DESCRIPTION Here we report a case of the forecasting and prevention of water inrush at the Jinping II Hydropower Station diversion tunnel groups during the excavation process. The diversion tu...
